Deputies Stop a Three-Animal Carpool Before I-35

What happened

UPI reported on October 14 that Bexar County sheriff’s deputies had rounded up two horses and a donkey near Interstate 35 and Kinney Road. The sheriff’s October 11 account places the call at about 5:45 p.m. and says the animals were within 50 feet of the highway. Deputies secured all three, located the owner and reported no crash or injury.

Why it matters

The distinction between beside the interstate and in moving traffic matters: the verified claim is that the animals were dangerously close, not that they entered a travel lane. Quick containment reduced the risk to drivers and animals, while returning them to an identified owner closed the immediate incident without turning a routine livestock escape into a fabricated chase.

The Blappos angle

Verified reporting ends above. The Blappos interpretation: Bexar County intercepted a three-passenger carpool with zero cars and a donkey apparently running navigation. The magnet uses invented animals and generic deputies—no copied social image, badge, identifiable person or claim that the trio actually traveled on I-35.
