The Roadster Does a Kickflip Before It Does Production

What happened

The Associated Press reported October 16 on Tesla's October 15 Roadster 2 demonstration at SpaceX's McGregor test site. A white prototype climbed a curved ramp, went inverted, cleared five parked vehicles and landed using a combination of wheels, cold-gas thrusters and suction hardware. The car was remotely controlled, carried no driver and was described as a stunt prototype rather than a production-safety vehicle.

Why it matters

A controlled demonstration can prove that a one-off machine has enough thrust, control authority and structural margin for a dramatic maneuver; it does not prove a road-legal flying car is ready. Company officials projected commercial production in 2028, said the standard vehicle would not provide full flight and described more extreme rocket hardware as a limited, invitation-only option. The useful distinction is spectacular prototype capability versus tested, regulated consumer transport.

The Blappos angle

Verified demonstration and production boundaries end above. The Blappos interpretation: the Roadster has completed a kickflip while its delivery date remains firmly on Earth. The magnet uses a generic unbadged electric roadster, invented test range and original typography—no Tesla logo, copied event frame, public-figure likeness or invitation to attempt the maneuver.
