Five-week-old kitten turns interstate rescue into a foot pursuit
What happened
UPI reported on September 11 that a five-week-old black kitten was spotted on southbound Interstate 275 in Hillsborough County, Florida. A sheriff's deputy and Florida Highway Patrol trooper chased and caught the kitten on September 8 after a passerby alerted authorities. The kitten was named Dash and adopted by the deputy's family.
