President removes jacket, benches 220 pounds twenty times, resumes diplomacy

What happened

A video from a military-unit visit showed Mongolia’s 58-year-old president, Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, remove his suit jacket and bench-press 100 kilograms—about 220 pounds—for 20 repetitions. The former army officer then stood up, shook hands and put his jacket back on.

Why it matters

The unusually polished feat went viral because it combined serious strength with the visual calm of a routine official visit. Khürelsükh has a background in bodybuilding and martial arts in addition to his military and political career.

The Blappos angle

Verified fact ends above. The Blappos interpretation: the cabinet meeting was adjourned after every remaining agenda item failed to demonstrate progressive overload.
