What happened
UPI reported that an emu escaped from a petting zoo in Rockland County, New York, prompting a response from Ramapo police. Multiple officers and a Skydio drone helped locate and follow the large flightless bird until it could be safely recovered and returned, with no injuries or property damage reported.
Why it matters
