What happened

Slovenian gymnast and stunt coordinator Filip Kržišnik held a full-body-burn handstand for 47 seconds in Vienna on March 4, establishing a Guinness World Records title. Guinness published the documented result on September 30. He trained with weighted timed handstands, controlled breathing and full-body-burn rehearsals.

Why it matters

The feat was a professional production, not a social-media challenge: Guinness said trained crew stood by with fire extinguishers and explicitly warned that the stunt should only be attempted by trained professionals.
